Until 2004, Peter Williams was Chief Executive of Selfridges. He presided over the opening of the Birmingham store in 2003. As Finance Director he had led the demerger process leading to Stock Exchange flotation in 1998.
Peter began his career at Arthur Andersen, moving on to Accenture, Aiwa, Sony and Freemans plc. Peter is Chief Executive of Alpha Airports Group PLC. Peter is also a member of the Business Advisory Group of Comic Relief and the Finance Committee of the British Red Cross.
