Who would notice if your brand vanished? 27 October, six visions of three business years

Will your business be different tomorrow?
Big businesses being outmanoeuvred by smaller, nimbler ones in the search for fresh ideas, a pervasive but potentially chaotic e-business environment and a world where we may find it harder than we think to ‘unlearn ways of thinking encrusted with the past’. Just three features of the economic future foreseen by Charles Leadbeater, advisor to the Prime Minister’s policy unit. But for Matthew Taylor, director of the Institute for Public Policy Research, the main challenge for business will be handling the ‘crisis of legitimacy’ that’s already gripped our democratic institutions.
