Design Council and RSA launch first joint publication

The Design Council and the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce (RSA) will launch their first joint publication this month exploring the role of creativity within education in the UK.
The annual publication - Education Futures - poses challenging questions about the UK education system at each stage - from nursery to lifelong learning. It also puts forward visionary answers with examples of current best practice from exemplars around the world.
Education Futures includes an editorial overview by Lord Puttnam and features a range of high profile contributors, from Tom Bentley of the think tank Demos to Professor Stephen Heppel, director of ULTRALAB, and the Bishop for Stepney, former advisor to the Stephen Lawrence judicial inquiry.
Education Futures will be available from Monday 20 March and sent to all RSA Fellows. Copies will also be distributed at select Design in Education Week 2000 events. For advance copies please contact the press office at the Design Council or RSA.
