It's
not what you know, it's what you do with it that counts
Is our current
education system helping us to make the best use of our skills
and knowledge? Can it do more to unlock the creative potential
in everyone? In today's world, knowledge needs to be used creatively
and Design in Education Week 2001 was all about influencing policy
and letting teachers and learners play a part in unlocking creative
potential. The Week was a nationwide focus for debate and action
centred on creativity in learning - from a design perspective.
Events happened all over the UK, with schools, further and higher
education establishments and businesses all involved.
