Design in Business Week is the Design Council's annual week of activity about the effective use of design by business. Now in its fifth year, the Week is a major national programme, attracting a total audience of around 10,000. In addition to an opening event in London and a series of Design Council events in other UK cities, events are held by other business organisations and design bodies all over the country.

This year's Design in Business Week will focus on 'your brand and your business in three years time'. Maybe you haven't begun to think about the future, or perhaps your planning is well underway. Either way Design in Business Week 2000, from 27 October to 3 November, is for you.

Design in Education Week 2001

Involving educational practitioners and opinion formers across the UK, the Design Council's Design in Education Week provides an annual focus for debate and action on the future of design in education.

Design in Education Week 2001 will take place from 2 to 6 April 2001 and will look at creativity in learning through design.

International Events

Millennium Products was a major Design Council initiative that identified 1,012 groundbreaking and convention-challenging products and services in the lead up to the new millennium.

In partnership with The British Council and with the support of Trade Partners UK and the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, we are using the stories behind the Millennium Products to promote UK creativity and innovation around the world through a series of events and exhibitions.
