Unique event to focus on the role of audio in promoting brands
Wednesday 8 October 2000
When was the last time you heard a good brand? What is the difference between a sonic logo and an audio brand trigger? And why is it becoming more important than ever for businesses to make the right noises?
These are just some of the questions which will be explored at NO!SE, a unique seminar being hosted by the Design Council on 31 October.
For the first time, the event will bring together leading marketeers, branding consultants and academics to explore in depth the role which audio plays in brands. Theyll be considering how audio can be used to create and maintain brand awareness, and theyll be offering their predictions for the future.
Martin Vinter-Jackson of Enterprise IG, one of the organisers of the event, said: Many people underestimate the powerful role which audio plays in building brands. Its importance will only increase in the future, particularly because of the opportunities that e-business offers audio. With the current rate of technological advancement in this convergent age, audio will become a key medium through which brands will be defined.
NO!SE is being hosted by the Design Council as part of Design in Business Week 2000. It is one of more than 50 special events being staged throughout the UK.
