Steve Annett Media Relations Manager 020 7420 5239 mobile 0976 557 880 stevea@designcouncil.org.uk Steve’s job is to ensure that the outside world knows, understands and appreciates the importance of design by generating informed coverage in the media. He’s responsible for devising and implementing the Design Council’s media strategy, managing the media team and maintaining relationships with the national press and broadcasters.       Alison Brown Media Co-ordinator 020 7420 5240 alisonb@designcouncil.org.uk Alison assists Steve and Jan in raising awareness about the effective use of design through the media, and ensures that the Design Council's media information resources are up to date. She is also Co-ordinator for international work - providing a focal point for information on our international activities as well as assisting the Media and Government teams on initiatives such as creative industries exports, international research and evaluation, the production of international exhibitions and international media projects.

 

Jan Dekker Corporate Writer 020 7420 5269 jand@designcouncil.org.uk Jan generates and edits written material for the whole Design Council team, contributing copy to key publications such as the Annual Review, Design in Britain and our regular magazine ‘i’, together with publications in support of events. Jan also writes articles for the media.
