Trade and Industry Minister John Battle will tomorrow encourage British businesses to ensure economic growth in the knowledge-driven economy by making the most of their innovation and creativity.
Mr Battle will be speaking at a one-off conference on how to develop and market world-beating products - ‘What’s the big idea?’ - in the Purcell Room at the South Bank complex, London, SE1, from 9.15am - 5.15pm.
Mr Battle, a long standing champion of design and innovation, will join an impressive line up of speakers to examine the crucial link between design, new product development and marketing.
Presented by Marketing magazine and the Design Council, the conference brings together leading thinkers in design and new product development with highlights including case studies on Viagra, Ford and Nestlé.
