| Razor
- Projects |
The
programme provides a platform to develop your own educational
project in response to the ideas and issues raised by Seymour
Powells razor proposal. Here are some projects which
may be relevant. You may also think of others:
|
 |
Do
a SWOT analysis of the new razor designed by Seymour Powell.
Put yourself in Craig Farinas shoes at Boots and decide
if you would put the idea into development. If yes, prepare
a detailed business case for production and distribution.
If no, outline alternative routes you can take to solve the
same problem.

 |
Visiting the traditional gentleman's barber is one way to
get a better shave. What other areas of personal grooming
or well-being could be turned into a retail service or experience
outside the home, and how would you design it?
|
 |
Fast-forward
30 years and describe your ideal bathroom of the future in
words and pictures. What activities will you do in there?
What technologies will you find in there?
|
 |
Devise
a creative marketing campaign which promotes the Seymour Powell
razor as a key reason to shop at Boots, using at least three
different media (e.g. press or poster advertising, TV commercials,
internet).
|
 |
Design
your own better razor aimed at combining the smoothness
of a wet shave with the convenience of an electric. Take your
proposal through to 3D model stage.
|
 |
Design
the packaging, structural and graphic, which will sell the
Seymour Powell razor off the shelves in Boots.
