The Education and Training Team has been building bridges between business and education. By working with partner organisations to create initiatives like Design in Education Week the aim is to prepare the future workforce for flexible working and to emphasise re-skilling. The team also helps government departments in implementing new and effective design strategies.

Responsible for managing education and training projects, developing teaching and learning tools and techniques. Eileen also liaises with education and businesses and speaks at events and conferences. |

| Development Manager, Training - Fiona Clark

Fiona ensures that the Design Council team are given help and support in order to achieve - from inductions for new staff to our new knowledge sharing drive. Fiona also runs some of our internal benchmark programmes. With particular interest in Lifelong Learning, she aims to give every team member the opportunity to professionally develop during their time with the Design Council. |

Lesley develops and manages projects and partnerships, working particularly with Higher Education, professional development and training organisations and with businesses. She liaises with the research team and also speaks at events, seminars and conferences. |
