Business

The Business Team are dedicated to inspiring their partners and the wider business audience to build their competitive edge using design as a key business tool, and by thinking about the factors which will influence the design of their organisations and products. The team do this by working with key partners and by sharing information, knowledge and practical tools.


 
Marketing Manager - Philip Johnson

As Marketing Manager, Philip is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with influential business organisations and the wider business community. He additionally contributes to the overall business and Design Council strategy.







Development Manager, Business - Susan Krantz

susank@designcouncil.org.uk

Sue builds and develops dynamic partnerships with key business organisations, such as the Small Business Service, Business Links and Regional Development Agencies, to champion the effective use of design as a strategic tool by small and medium-sized businesses.






Team Co-ordinator - Kirstine Murphy

kirstinem@designcouncil.org.uk

Kirstine organises Business and Research Team activities and events and supports the team in their work with partners. She works directly with partner organisations and is responsible for a number of projects, including exhibitions and gathering and disseminating information.







Development Manager, Business - Ellie Runcie

Ellie is responsible for developing and building the Sharing Innovation Business Network, and also pioneering and managing our work on e-business.






Development Manager, Investment - Ewa Spohn

ewas@designcouncil.org.uk

Ewa works with the UK investment community by developing partnerships and programmes which aim to improve their awareness of the value and implications of the design process, both for themselves and the businesses they invest in.
