Research

The Research Team gathers and disseminates knowledge about future design trends, challenges and opportunities and looks at the impact of design in the UK. The team achieves this by working in collaboration with research bodies and establishing communities within business, education and government.
 
Research Assistant - Hannah Curtis

Hannah is responsible for developing the Design Council's knowledge resource on future trends, design challenges and design opportunities.
She researches and implements future trends, such as sustainable futures, in collaboration with leading national and international research bodies and establishes communities with business, education and government to explore and exchange knowledge.

Jeremy is responsible for conducting research to evaluate the Design Council's activities and tools, as well as assessing the impact of design within the UK economy. He also assists in developing knowledge resources and implementing the Design Council's new research strategy.
